Properly stuffed after visit to the 'Granny would be Proud' Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the Argyll Hotel. £10 for all you can eat buffet and cake extravaganza! We had a proper Mad Hatter old boy sitting adjacent to us, resplendent in mustard tweed 3 piece suit and top hat. Just marvellous to be around authentic eccentricity. The 'Granny would be Proud' vintage and crafts sale is on the first Sunday of every month at the Argyll Hotel - well worth a peek for interesting presents.

Spring Forward!
Productivity on new Spring aprons was halted by lamp blowing on sewing machine last week. I had however managed to produce a few really nice aprons from 'The Perfect Apron' by Rob Merrett. This is one of my current favourite designs with the heart-shaped pocket.

Crafty Day Out
Went to the 'Made in the Shade' Craft Fair in The Lighthouse yesterday which was excellent - such a good venue for the crafters!
Bought lots of nice gifts for Christmas but especially liked yhfphoto's image of naughty robots jaunting around Glasgow.
I acquired a really lovely boxed tray and shot glasses from 'Love me Again' - so pretty.

New Aprons Available
Here's my most recent apron, a move into the 'French Maid' cut which I'm very fond of at present. I'm making a few of these in this nice flowery material and have looked out some smashing cornflower blue material for the next ones.
Sew Nice
Really delighted with new find from etsy-land. The Sew-much-to-do necklace is superb and I'm going to purchase upon my return. She's based in Glasgow which makes it all the nicer!
